The definition of exteriors, interiors, liveries and headers for the new trains on the Milan Metro lines 1 and 2.
The header design was the result of the desire to strengthen the brand by using the logo as an aesthetic generator of a particular shape. The study of the graphic outer for the exterior of the carriages was developed throught highlithing the simplicity of language to give better visibility for the doors.
Completely blacks trains were suggested (in addition to red and green), because they tend to disappear in the dark environment of the platforms and thus bring out contrast in the graphics at the openings of the doors in red (line 1) and green (line 2).
The interior design aims at simplifying the elements and a rationalization of space.
